I sleep and I dream.
In my dream I walk, I run, I laugh, I play, I write an exam, I see my family, I swim, I cry, I talk to my friends, I see colours, I hear sounds, I eat and taste food, I feel, I experience the world, I die.
Then I wake up.
While awake I walk, I run, I laugh, I play, I write an exam, I see my family, I swim, I cry, I talk to my friends, I see colours, I hear sounds, I eat and taste food, I feel, I experience the world, I die.
What’s different? How do I know I’m awake right now? How do I know what is really real? Is THIS it (real)? Maybe I’m asleep, maybe I’m still dreaming...

it's a nice entry, bita jan,
and I know I should better see this from a philosophical perspective,
but just a question,
4 years ago, you met a friend in your dream (possibly) but you don't remember if you have or not.
and again, 4 years ago, you met a friend, he/she told you something, and you learned something, or you guys did something together, and the memory of it is still with you.
Do you see what I am saying?
(do I see what I see? lala lala lala la)

merci az commentet saeed. so you're saying that when we remember something, that is real. but i still remember some dreams i've had in my life. and also, in a dream you do remember the different parts - i.e. while you are dreaming you remeber that you met a friend 4 years ago, it is only when you wake up that the details become hazy. so what if this whole life has been a dream (since i was born)? then all the friends i have met and memories i've acquired are part of my dream, and i only remember them because i'm still dreaming. how do i know the real me is not sleeping somewhere making this the dream me typing right now?

"[...]it is only when you wake up that the details become hazy."

"all the friends i have met and memories i've acquired are part of my dream, and i only remember them because i'm still dreaming"

my small brain is telling me there is a bit of paradox in the two sentences you mentioned. I guess I don't have a clear, specific definition of the terms "dream" and "reality"

I'll think about it..

what i'm trying to say is what if this whole life is a dream. and when i sleep and dream, then i'm just dreaming that i'm dreaming. how can i know that i am awake right now, rather than just dreaming? in a dream you can't tell that you are dreaming, you think you are experiencing the things you dream about. so maybe now is the same thing.
it is even possible that what i think is reality is actually me dreaming, and what i think is me dreamin is actually me fully awake. does that make sense? we'll talk about it later (i person) if you want.
p.s. i'm sorry, but i don't see the paradox. can you explain saeed?
